Casual is a video and animation production group based in Barcelona, London, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Hong Kong and Sydney.

We're looking for talented Video Editor in a full-time and permanent role.

You will be a highly skilled, talented Editor with strong experience in Adobe Creative Suite Packages and at least 3 years experience. We're looking for extremely creative individuals to work alongside our creative and production teams and create world-beating content for our clients.

You'll have an outstanding showreel demonstrating a variety of editing styles, as well as an in depth understanding of various software packages and their respective workflows. The ability to combine great storytelling with creative flair is a must. Motion graphics experience is essential.

You must be fluent working and editing in English.

This role will involve remote working.

What You’ll Actually Do:

• Choose and assemble the selects from the footage
• Back the footage, transcode and ingest where necessary
• Manipulate the plot, score, sound, and graphics to refine the overall story into a continuous and enjoyable whole film
• Work with the Producers to incorporate client feedback, provide commentary and explanations, and produce a final draft version
• Deliver the film in a timely fashion, in the required format, ensuring maximum quality
• Use experience of how final films come together to, on some suitable projects, advise the team on which creative proposals will best achieve the client’s brief
• Maintain creative responsibility for a project while it is in post production
• Exhibit a proven understanding of the strategic value of film within corporate communications
• Show expertise and comfort in communicating business messaging
