Why do we need you?

We are looking for a remote freelance digital designer to work closely with our design team. You’ll need great design skills, an understanding of typography and layout, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to bring something unique to Blinkist. If you relish the idea of helping raise the bar for our marketing and brand-related collateral then this job is for you!

As our freelance designer you will:

• Produce consistently excellent visual work
• Creatively develop and rapidly iterate on solutions for online advertising, social media creatives, website, landing pages, infographics, etc...
• Produce innovative work that translates complex ideas into compelling digital experiences
• Use your various graphic design skills for a diverse range of communication assets
• Work closely with the Blinkist design team to maintain consistency

To do this, we believe you should have:

• A minimum of 2-3 years of proven graphic designing experience
• You are resourceful and detail-oriented
• You have advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
• You have experience in UI design.
• You have profound graphic design skills. We are looking for a true designer for this position who has excellent composition, typography, and layout skills.
• You have strong communication skills and can give/receive constructive feedback.
• You speak a good level of English as you will require to work with several locations
• Illustration and branding experience
• The ability to work independently and collaborate with various stakeholders
• Experience designing ads for social media platforms
